Open Championship
The 2027 Open Championship will be at Olathe East High School on Sunday, March 21, 2027.
Innovative Choreography is proud to present the 2027 Open Championship. The Open Championship will feature highly qualified and fair judges, honest critiques and scoring. The Open Championship is open to all collegiate dance teams regardless of size or classification.
BACK in 2027: High-school-aged dance soloists may register to compete. Please note, high-school-aged dancers will register as independent dancers, not associated with high school dance teams (thus not a KSHSAA-sponsored event). Competition videos will be shared with the college coaches after the competition…add this to your recruiting journey!
BACK IN 2027: After the Open Championship concludes, book a one-on-one perfecting session with a judge. During this time, work with your judge to clean, enhance, and adjust your routines. You’ll leave feeling more confident and prepared for the season ahead!
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for K-College students.
Merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.

Registration
Register by January 15, 2027 to receive the early registration rates.
Registration closes on February 15, 2022.
