Innovative Assistants
Innovative Choreography is proud to invest in young, talented, dedicated dancers. Beginning in the summer of 2018, current high school sophomores and juniors in the Kansas City area were selected to be Innovative Assistants. These dancers have shown outstanding work ethic, leadership, and talent. We can't wait to watch them grow into amazing instructors!

​Sabina Crocker
Sabina started dancing at the age of 3 and has been doing it nonstop ever since. She is a part of the PreProfessional Program at Premier Dance. At Premier, she trains in all styles of dance and loves to attend conventions. Sabina was a 2 year member and captain of the Mission Trail Middle School Dance Team and is currently a member of the Olathe West Varsity Dance Team.​

Elyse Hammel
Elyse started dancing at the young age of 3. Since then, she fell in love with it and hasn't stopped. Elyse is currently a junior at Blue Valley West High School and is a member of the varsity Crimson Cats Dance Team. She also serves as the State Captain. Elyse dances competitively at Priscilla and Dana's School of Dance. She currently trains in jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and ballet. Her favorite style is jazz, and she can't wait to bring her passion to Innovative!

Aubrey Lopeman
Aubrey fell in love with dance at the age of three. She started dancing competitively at age six. She is currently on the competitive team at Johnson County Dance Center (JCDC) and will be a senior at St. James Academy. She is very excited to be part of the Innovative family!​

Kylie Mall
Kylie started in dance at the age of 4. She started competing at the age of 7. She is a sophomore at De Soto High School, and is part of the cheerleading team. She also dances at Johnson County Dance Center. Kylie is so excited to be an assistant for Innovative Choreography!

Madisun Morris
Maddi is a freshman at Olathe West and is part of the Westside Dance Team. She dances at Premier Dance, where she is part of the elite company. Maddi was an officer for the Mission Trail MS dance team and attends The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Leah Shilling
Leah started dancing at the age of three and has been dancing competitively ever since! She currently dances at Starstruck Performing Arts Center and is going into her junior year as a member of the Olathe West Dance Team. She is so excited to share her passion for dance and can’t wait for her first year being an Innovative assistant!

Finley White
Finley’s love for dancing began when she was 2 years old. She dances in the Pre-Professional program at Premier Dance KC. A sophomore at Blue Valley Southwest, she is on the Glitter Girls Dance Team. She is excited to share her love for dance as an Innovative assistant.
Taylor Wright
Taylor Wright started dancing when she was 3 years old and is currently dancing at Denise’s Dance Academy. Taylor is a junior at Blue Valley West and is also a part of the BVW Crimson Cats Dance Team. She competes and trains in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, musical theatre, and pom. Taylor is so excited to be a part of the Innovative family this year and can’t wait to share her passion for dance with others!

Jazlyn Zuniga
Jazlyn developed her love for dance at the age of two and started dancing competitively at the age of four. She is a third-year varsity member of the Westside Dance Team and dances competitively at Perception Dance Company. She is so excited to be an assistant for Innovative Choreography!
