The Shocker Dance Team is a talented and dedicated group of dancers that proudly represents Shocker Nation at men’s and women’s basketball games, various community events, and the AAC tournament, where they cheer on Shocker basketball teams throughout their postseason journey. With a strong tradition of excellence, the team competes annually at NDA Nationals, and in 2023 and 2024, they advanced to D1 Pom finals, achieving the highest placements in program history.

 

Each spring, the team hosts tryout clinics, offering aspiring Shocker dancers the opportunity to prepare for official tryouts, which are typically held in May or June.
